Fr. Bob Robeson was ordained for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on June 28, 2003 after completing his M.Div. at Saint Meinrad Seminary.  Prior to his ordination, he received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1985, a Masters in Education at the University of South Carolina in 1989, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Indiana University in 1998.  He also worked in residence life at the University of South Carolina, and as Asst. Dean of Students at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. After ordination Fr. Bob was appointed Director of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese as well as Associate Pastor for St. Monica Parish.  In 2004 he was appointed to establish Bishop Simon Brute' College Seminary, and served as the founding Rector of the seminary until 2016.  During that time he served in various sacramental ministry roles at Holy Trinity, St. Anthony, St. Malachy, St. Monica, St. Mark, and as Chaplain and adjunct professor for Marian University.  In 2016, Fr. Bob was appointed Pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Beech Grove, and in 2017 was made administrator, and later Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in addition to his role at Holy Name.  In 2020-21, he served as Interim President of Roncalli High School, and has continued as Chaplain Coordinator at Roncalli since that time.  In 2026, he was appointed Pastor of SS Francis and Clare Parish, St. Martin Parish, while continuing as Chaplain Coordinator at Roncalli.

Growing up, Fr. Bob's family moved around quite often, however, most of his youth was spent in St. Louis and upstate New York near Rochester.  He is the 2nd oldest of 6 children and most of his brothers and sisters live in upstate New York, so thankfully they are not around to tell embarrassing stories from his younger days.  He loves sports - especially football, wrestling, and lacrosse (which he played in high school), and roots for the St. Louis Cardinals, The Colts, The Buffalo Bills, IU, and the South Carolina Gamecocks. For 4 years, Fr. Bob lived and studied as a Friar with the TOR Franciscan Community, so he has a deep love and devotion to Franciscan spirituality.  His favorite Saints are the Blessed Mother (of course!), St. Joseph, St. Francis, and St. Bonaventure.
