Preschool-5th Grade

At Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi, our children's ministry programming for preschool through 5th grade is designed to cultivate a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment for young hearts and minds. Our vibrant programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of each age group, providing a foundation for their faith journey. Through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and creative expression, we aim to instill core values of love, kindness, and compassion inspired by the teachings of Saints Francis and Clare. From dynamic Sunday Morning Religious Education classes to exciting special events and service opportunities, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and community among our children, empowering them to grow in their relationship with God and each other. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff are committed to walking alongside our children as they discover the joy of faith and the boundless love of God. ● Sunday Morning Religious Education-SMRE (preschool through 5th grade)
● Catholic Xplorers (3rd, 4th and 5th grades) – monthly after-school faith formation and fun activities
● Sacramental preparation (2nd grade and children more than 8 years old)
● All Saints Day Program (5th grade)
● Thanksgiving Counting our Blessings Program (preschool through 1st grade)
● Jesse Tree Program (3rd grade)
● Christmas Caroling at a Local Assisted Living Facility
● Christmas Program (preschool to 1st, and 4th grade)
● Lenten Service Project
