Confirmation through the Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Youth Ministry is a powerful journey of faith, growth, and commitment. Designed for students in the 8th grade, this sacramental preparation program invites teens to deepen their relationship with Christ, grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith, and embrace their role as active members of the Church. Through dynamic sessions, service opportunities, retreats, and spiritual sponsors, candidates are guided by faith-filled leaders and supported by their parish community. Confirmation marks the beginning of a lifelong mission of discipleship, and we are honored to walk alongside our young people as they prepare to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

APPROPRIATE ATTIRE

What is the appropriate attire?

Confirmation candidates, sponsors, and liturgical ministers are expected to dress modestly and in a way that reflects the solemnity of the liturgy. Attire should be clean, neat, and tasteful, avoiding anything that draws attention to oneself rather than the sacred celebration.

Necklines and hemlines should be appropriately modest, and overall attire should reflect one’s “Sunday best.” This means avoiding overly casual or provocative clothing. Babydoll dresses for teens or adults are not appropriate for worship. Clothing with prominent branding or items that advertise a product or company are also not suitable.
