The Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi School Commission convenes annually to review the upcoming school year tuition, taking into consideration school strategic goals, operating expenses and annual inflation rates. The school commission recommended and Father Giannini approved the tuition rates for the 2026-2027 school year which will increase by 8%.

Having an accurate enrollment number supports preparation efforts for the upcoming school year budget. Returning School Families may begin enrolling on February 1. We will begin accepting applications for New Families on February 15 . The enrollment period will remain open through March 15.  Any family who registers by or on March 15  will be eligible for the early registration fee of $200 per student. The registration fee starting March 16 will increase to $250 per student.

Enrollment Prioritization

  • Returning School Families must complete the online application and submit the enrollment fee by February 14 which is the last day of the returning school family re-enrollment period in order to ensure priority placement over the new family open enrollment period.
  • New Families must complete the online application and submit the enrollment fee by the last day of the end of the new family enrollment period.

When requests for admission exceed the capacity of the School Ministry, the order of enrollment will be determined by the following prioritization until each applicable classroom is filled:

    a. Priority One. You are an SSFC employee enrolling a student in infants through 8th grade.
    b. Priority Two. You are a Returning Family and a SSFC Stewardship Family re-enrolling an existing student in infants through 8th grade.
    c. Priority Three. You are a Returning Family re-enrolling an existing student in infants through 8th grade.
    d. Priority Four. You are a Returning Family and a SSFC Parish Stewardship Family enrolling a sibling of a child presently attending the School Ministry.
    e. Priority Five. You are a Returning Family enrolling a sibling of a child presently attending the School Ministry.
    f. Priority Six. You are a New Family and a SSFC Parish Stewardship Family enrolling a child or children for the first time in infants through 8th grade.
    g. Priority Seven. You are an Active Catholic Non-Parishioner Family enrolling a child or children for the first time in infants through 8th grade.
    h. Priority Eight. You are a New Family enrolling a child or children for the first time in infants through 8th grade.

In cases where prospective students have identical ranking based upon the priority and there are insufficient openings in a particular grade to accommodate those families, the determining factor will be the date the family joined Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Parish for Stewardship Families, if applicable. If not, the priority will be determined by lottery. This lottery, if needed, would take place during a public meeting to be announced. In the event a particular grade is filled from the applicants who submitted timely and complete online registration, all remaining prospective students will be placed on a waiting list in order of the priority established under this policy.

Any online registration that is not complete or not submitted by the above deadlines is not considered according to the priority established under this policy but is considered on a first come, first-served basis as of the date of submission of the complete online registration.  If there are more complete online registrations submitted on a particular date than there are openings in a particular grade, the remaining openings will be determined by lottery.

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi School Ministry reserves the right to exclude a family if they have a delinquent balance. This balance includes, but not limited to tuition, enrichment, cafeteria, or CYO fees.

We celebrate the commitment you make to provide a faith-based education for your children.  We encourage you to inquire about our financial aid options. We are committed to ensuring that every qualified student has the opportunity to attend our school, regardless of financial circumstances. The income guidelines for the upcoming school year can be viewed by clicking on the Admissions Process button below.

Admission Requirements

Admission to Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School is based on the following guidelines:

  1. Applicants for Kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 1st.
  2. Applicants for grades 1-8 are accepted into the grade in which their previous school promotes them, provided there is an opening. Admission is probationary and made final only upon receipt of proper records from the former school and successful performance at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School Ministry.
  3. Students who are transferring to Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School Ministry, along with his or her parents, meet with the administration prior to enrollment. Eligibility for entrance will be based on academic and behavior records and a reference from the most recent school attended.
  4. All new students will be given a trial period of not less than one semester in which to prove himself/herself both socially and academically. If during this trial period there are any problems, a student may be asked to withdraw his/her attendance at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi School Ministry. The recommendation and decision of the school is final.  If after admission, the educational and/or behavioral needs of a student exceeds what would be considered reasonable, the student may need to be separated from Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi School Ministry. This decision will be made for the student’s educational and/or behavioral needs to be fully met in another educational setting. If the decision to separate the student from Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi School Ministry is made by the school, the student’s tuition due would be prorated.
