Finalsite

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School utilizes Finalsite Enrollment, providing a streamlined and secure platform for tuition payment. This user-friendly system allows parents to manage their financial obligations efficiently, view payment schedules, and access important enrollment and school year information, ensuring a hassle-free and transparent process.

Logins are the same across all Finalsite Enrollment Parent Portals. That means, if a parent has created an account before on another school's portal, they do not need to create another account, rather, they can log in with the same email/password or SSO without creating a new account.

We utilize PowerSchool to keep parents and students informed about academic progress. Through PowerSchool, you can easily access student grades, assignments, and attendance records. This platform also facilitates effective communication between parents and teachers, ensuring you stay updated on your child's educational journey. To create a New Account, click on the button below and then follow the instructions for creating a New PowerSchool Account.  To link the parent account to your student(s) account, Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi will send you an email with your child's name, access id and access password. You need to create your account first in order to connect with your student(s).

MORNING DROP OFF & DISMISSAL

IMPORTANT DO'S AND DON'TS

  • Do be patient. Do be courteous.

  • Have students prepared and ready to exit your vehicle in the Green Drop Off Zone as quickly as possible. Be as quick as possible in unloading your child. Staff will be unable to assist students in exiting the vehicles.

  • Remember, we are unloading more than 350 students in 20 minutes.

  • Do be mindful of our staff as they man certain areas to direct traffic. They are in place to expedite this process promptly, in a safe manner.

  • Do understand, that if needed, the procedure is subject to change to accommodate our families. We will update as needed throughout the year via email.

MORNING DROP OFF

  • The Olive Branch Road entrance will be an entrance only between 7:30–7:50 a.m.

  • All traffic will exit past the Early Childhood Ministry building onto Golden Field Drive exit.

  • Families with ECM students and older K-8th students will have to do TWO different drop-off points. Please drop off K-8th grade students first then go to the ECM circle drive to drop off your ECM infant, toddler or preschool student. DO NOT ENTER OFF OF GOLDEN FIELD DRIVE this is an EXIT ONLY during morning drop off.-see morning drop off map

  • IF YOU ARE ONLY DROPPING AT THE ECM Please use the main front entrance off of Olive Branch Road, follow the entrance procedures and use the outer edge of the parking lot to drive around to the ECM, DO NOT CUT THROUGH THE PARKING LOT.-see morning drop off map

  • Students can exit cars in the drop off zones- approximately the church sidewalk to the end of the gym and the half circle in from of the ECM. Staff members will assist in directing traffic patterns.

  • For the safety of our staff and students, parents are encouraged to drop their students off outside in the car line and not walk their students in the School or ECM buildings. We understand there are specific circumstances that require parents to walk their child into school. In the rare event that you need to walk with your child into the building, please park in the spaces east of the gymnasium for K-8th grade and behind the gymnasium for the ECM. Please be cautious of the morning traffic.

  • The cafeteria entrance is a student entrance only from 7:30-7:50 a.m. Parents may enter the building during this time, but need to enter through the main office.

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

  • Cars turn in from Olive Branch Road and proceed to the parking lot on the EAST side of the building.

  • All vehicles must be in park, and drivers are encouraged to have their engines off prior to the dismissal of the students.

  • We will begin dismissal starting at 3:10 p.m. for K-8. All students will be out of the building by 3:15 p.m.. Students are to find their vehicle in their grade’s row. Families park according to the youngest child’s grade- kindergarten families parking in the row closest to the gym.

  • Once all students are safely loaded, teachers will dismiss cars by row – beginning with the row closest to Calvert Farms which will exit via Olive Branch Road and the row nearest the gym which will exit via Golden Field Drive.

  • For the safety and timeliness of the pickup procedure, students will go directly to their vehicle and are to remain in the vehicle.

Please Note: For the safety of everyone, please put your car in park and turn off your engine. To help with the timeliness of the pickup procedure, please keep all siblings in your vehicle.

LATE LINE

When classes are proceeding to the carline at 3:00pm, all late cars will be directed to the front of the school building (near the flagpole). Late line students will be walked to the front of the building after cars are dismissed from the parking lot. DO NOT pull through the fire lane. Cars in front of the late line should stay behind the fire lane when lining up.

 ALL STUDENTS NOT PICKED UP BY THE TIME LATE LINE DISMISSES WILL BE CHECKED INTO
THE AFTERSCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AND FEES MAY APPLY.

 

PRESCHOOL MORNING DROP OFF & DISMISSAL

PRESCHOOL PARENT WITHOUT OLDER STUDENTS

End of day dismissal for preschool is located at the Early Childhood Ministry (ECM) Building on the designated sidewalk area indicated by preschool teacher.

Dismissal time 12pm for 1/2 DAYS and 2:50pm for FULL DAYS

Parents should line the ECM Circle Drive in two lines-overflow parking in the ECM parking lot.

PRESCHOOL PARENT WITH OLDER STUDENTS

Park in your assigned pick up line, put your car in park and turn off your engine then walk to the preschool pick up area to retrieve your child.

LATE LINE PRESCHOOL PARENTS

If you miss the afternoon preschool pick up, your child will be checked into the afterschool enrichment program in the ECM building and fees may apply. 

Emergency, Weather & Important School Update Procedures

SCHOOL YEAR PRESCHOOL & SCHOOL MINISTRY (K-8th Grade)

The school year preschool program and school ministry utilize the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages, straight to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more.* You can participate in this free service* just by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. 

You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”. SchoolMessenger is compliant with the Student Privacy PledgeTM, so you can rest assured that your information is safe and will never be given or sold to anyone.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY (ECM) INFANT & TODDLER PROGRAMS

The Early Childhood Ministry infant and toddler programs utilizes Tadpoles to deliver messages on ECM delays and closings.

2 Hour Delay, Snow Days & eLearning Policies

  • Should we need to have a two-hour delay, the ECM infant, toddler, and year-round preschool will operate on a normal schedule. There is no morning care on delay days. Classes for School Year Preschool-8th Grade begins at 9:50a.m, students can begin being dropped off at 9:30a.m.
  • If inclement weather is anticipated while in school, students will be asked to take their Chromebooks home.
  • The first three (3) days that school is closed for any reason, Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi will have an eLearning day on the same day as the cancellation.
  • In the case of the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) days that school is closed for any reason, Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi will have an in-person school day the next SNOW MAKE UP DAY that is listed out on the SCHOOL & EVENTS CALENDAR . This will be a traditional day of school with the day beginning at 7:50 AM and ending at 3:15 PM.
  • Teachers will have their assignments posted on Google Classroom or emailed to students no later than 10:00 AM. Students will be required to log into their account no later than 12:00 PM/Noon.
