Indiana School Choice Scholarship

All Indiana residents will become eligible as income caps are removed for the 2026-2027 school year, making the Indiana School Choice Scholarship an universal program starting in mid-2026, with applications opening in March 2026, allowing any student in Indiana to receive funds for participating private schools, including faith-based ones, with awards covering a portion of tuition and fees. 

How to Register for the Indiana Choice Scholarship (2026–2027 School Year)

Eligible Grades: Kindergarten–12th Grade
Purpose: Offsets tuition costs for qualifying Indiana students
Program Note: Indiana Choice Scholarship is now universal — there is no income cap.

1. Complete School Enrollment in Finalsite
  • Log in to your Finalsite Enrollment account.

  • Begin your student’s registration for the 2026–2027 school year.

  • When prompted, select “Yes” for Financial Assistance Needed to begin the Choice Scholarship process.

2. Upload Required Documentation

Provide the following previous year’s tax documents for verification:

  • Proof of Indiana residency

  • Documentation confirming the number of dependents
    These documents must be uploaded directly within the Finalsite system.

3. Enrollment Windows for Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi

Current School Families (Early Enrollment):

  • February 1 – March 15

  • Early Enrollment Fee: $200 per student (non-refundable)

New Families (Early Enrollment):

  • February 15 – March 15

  • Early Enrollment Fee: $200 per student (non-refundable)

General Open Enrollment Begins:

  • March 16

  • Enrollment Fee: $250 per student (non-refundable)

4. After Submission
  • The school will review your documents and finalize your eligibility for the Indiana Choice Scholarship.

  • Families will be notified if additional information is needed.

Godparent Scholarships

Families with children Preschool through 8th grade are eligible to apply for Godparent Scholarships.

Interested families must apply for Godparent Scholarships.  The Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi School Scholarship Committee reviews applications.  Please contact the Director of Admissions for more information.

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Early Childhood Ministry (ECM) Tuition Discount Policy

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Early Childhood Ministry offers tuition discounts to employees of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi employees.

Archdiocese employees and part time Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi employees receive a 25% tuition discount for grades infant, toddler, and preschool. 

Full time Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi employees receive a 50% discount on tuition for children in grades infant, toddler, and preschool.

Part time employees are defined as those who work at least 15 hours per week.

Full time employees are defined as those who work at least 30 hours per week.
